Terms of Service

The service

npm Digest consolidates npm package publish notification emails into digests (daily, weekly, or monthly).

We aim for reliable service but don't guarantee 100% uptime or delivery. Email systems can fail. We're a small operation, not a critical infrastructure provider.

Accounts

You need to be at least 16 years old. Keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Free trial

New accounts get 14 days free with full access. No payment info required. After the trial, subscribe or lose access to paid features.

Pricing and billing

€4.95/month (VAT included where applicable).

Activity-based billing: We only charge for months where you forward at least one email to us. No forwarded emails, no charge. Your subscription stays active.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept major cards.

If payment fails, we'll notify you. Repeated failures may result in suspended access.

Price changes: 30 days notice via email. Don't like it? Cancel before it takes effect.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime from your account settings. You keep access until the end of your paid period. We don't do refunds for partial months, but if something's wrong, email us.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you're a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days to withdraw from this contract without giving a reason. The period starts when you sign up (not when you first pay).

Since we offer a 14-day free trial, the withdrawal period expires before your first payment. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged.

If you pay and then withdraw: Email support@npmdigest.com with a clear statement that you're withdrawing. We'll refund your payment within 14 days using the same payment method, minus any service already delivered.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• •Use the service for anything illegal
• •Try to break or exploit the system
• •Abuse the service (excessive load, spam, etc.)

We can suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Our liability

We're a €5/month micro-SaaS. Our liability is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months. We're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or missed npm notifications.

This doesn't affect:

• •Your statutory rights as an EU consumer
• •Liability for fraud or gross negligence
• •Liability for personal injury

Changes to terms

Material changes: 30 days email notice. Keep using the service after that = acceptance. Don't agree? Cancel before changes take effect.

Disputes

Governing law: German law.

Jurisdiction: Hamburg courts. EU consumers can also use their local courts.
